But does anyone make a 30 something year old Soccer mom driving an SUV, talking on a cell phone, chugging a Starbucks (ew!) and painting her toe nails while driving? That's what we see often on the roads and freeways in the Peoples Communist Republik of Kaliphornia. I have a good friend that can do her makeup and talk on the phone while steering with the tops of her thighs (if she is wearing shorts, tight Levi's or a skirt) while doing 80 down the freeway. Scares the crap out of me!

Comrade,
I must confess that sometimes I shave while I drive. At first, it drove my wife crazy, but now she accepts it as normal since I only check the mirror at red lights. I seem to have inherited it from my father.
Don't forget the decals for the car! Some of them have to have their signage!

Decals for the back window: "My kid beat up your honor student", & "I'm bored, flash me". If I could make them in white and small enough to fit the back window of HO vehicles and still readable, I'd do it.

Ever try driving an 18 wheeler while eating a double beef Whopper and trying to read a road map? I have!!! That was in my younger days. I remember when I took my driving test the tractor I used had two shifters in it and during the road test I went to shift I steadied the wheel with my leg and used both hands to shift. Not the preferred method and it scared hell out of the guy giving me the test. BTW,I did pass the test.

HO scale Garfield stuck to a back window?
One of those stickers that look like a baseball hit the window.
How about one of those Halloween decorations where it looked like a witch on a broom smacked into your backend.
Christmas wreath..on the grill?
Intersesting details, and with a little work, could be done.

No........and my LPBs would kill me, as I slept, if I ever scratchbuilt one!
Ever since "texting" started, I've had to drive more miles of "shoulder", than highway. My choices have gotten rather thin!
a. die in a head on crash with a texting driver.
b. die in a head on crash with a tree, trying to avoid choice a.

The next most needed invention....
A mandatory Cell Phone/"electronic device" jammer, that comes on the moment the key is inserted in the ignition, and doesn't shut down until the key is removed!
It's "for the children".

I recently made friends with a gentleman from Saudi Arabia whom said that many Saudis did believe that radios (when they arrived in their country) worked because there were demons in them. Just like in Borat, he said that "Made in Israel" gets a similar reaction.
Texting while driving is quite insane...unless you are at a red light.

Now we are getting way off topic, but my state legislature decided against a ban on texting while driving. I am glad they got that hot button issue settled as opposed to, say, passing a budget before the July 1st deadline I can't wait until the next election...

That sounds like a large-scale diorama in the making!
