This Maine Coast RS11 was painted by the Winchester and Western shop in Bridgeton, NJ.  It is now on WPMI-61, at Millville, waiting to be picked up by Conrail for the return trip back to Maine, September 1991.

Huh!  I believe on the long hood it says "City of Rockland".  I stayed there for a couple of nights on our anniversary (25th) - great little town with a lighthouse right in the middle of the bay that's accessible via a rubble land bridge about 3/4 of a mile long.  It's also not far from where my grandmother was born and not too far from Bowdoin College where my dad spent several summers in school while we rented an apartment up there.  If not for the long period between early fall and late spring, I could probably induce the bride to move...

Westbound at Beaver Falls, Pa 10/1/2015. To the left the turbine pit of the hydroelectric plant I operated from 1983 to 1994 is barely visible. The track is former P&LE. Over the 11 years I worked there I watched the fall of the little Giant. It was sad.
