I was wondering if perhaps the mods could possibly think about moving some "layout" threads into the Layout Forum. There are a number of layout threads in the HO modeling section which could probably find a new home in the Layout Forum.
If anything just to establish some form of consistency. The HO Modeling forum could be for example showcase the modeling of specific items such as structures or rolling stock in HO scale. While the Layout Forum could be more broader based and include Layouts from all scales.
Another alternative I guess would be to scrub the Layout Forum all together and move the layout threads into their respective scales.
Just a suggestion. ducks and runs for cover

I was just thinking that as well, since I made a new thread and wondered where to put it either the Kitbashing section or in HO, then looked around in the HO section and found a lot of Layout threads....
The confusing part for everyone is that if they have a HO layout they want it in the HO section, N layout in the N section etc..
Perhaps if more people listed in the thread title what scale it is it wouldn't be so confusing

Something else I was thinking would make for quick layout viewing purposes is a sticky with all the layouts in one post , no not everyones layout in one thread but a post with links to all the layout locations.

I think this sounds like a great idea.
I know there are a few of my threads, mostly my module threads that could be moved to the more appropriate sections/forums... I wasnt thinking when i started them in the HO Scale Forum  lol

It's not a problem to move them, and leave a redirect, and to even re-title the thread(s).
The only thing we need is permission of the thread owner to do it... so if you're up for it, respond with a "yes" and a link to your thread so we're sure to get the right one...

The layout forum is one of the more popular forums and so I would suggest doing what Andrew suggests. Upon request of the thread starter, that we can move any thread to the Layout section. I would not however, leave a "shadow copy" since that simply leaves a copy of the thread in the original forum and that's going to get confusing.

No problem. As part of the general cleanup, feel free to move my thread from the H0 forum to the layout forum.
Here is a link to the thread - I'd like to keep the same title :

Josh - We can move it if you wish. You are more than welcome to leave it where you first posted it. Point us to it, and we'll move it, otherwise it can stay. It's totally up to you.
Don - I agree - no shadow copy, but perhaps a redirect for at least a little while?
Stein - Will do. The only thing we *may* do is note the scale in the title if that's ok.
