I had a doctor stick a light in my ear a few times. The same goes for my eyes, but I don't ever remember any of them being shrink wrapped.
They must have different kind of doctors in other parts of the country.
If you don't really know where light goes when you turn it off, I'm guessing you don't know where it comes from when you turn it on either.

In model railroading, there are between six and two hundred ways of performing a given task.
Most modellers can get two of them to work.

I think Big Blue is entitled to have its own tunnel ! And their own light, too.

What's the point of having a light at the end of a railroad tunnel anyway? There's not much to see, and the rails guide the train through...

The tunnel referenced in the saying is a "generic" tunnel...not a railroad tunnel necessarily. And the light does not refer to a light bulb or to a headlight, but to the light of day....
You figure the rest out....

Just another management person with a torch bringing me another load of work! - must be one of the younger ones - his boss thinks the light shines out of his A$$, and he's trying to prove that it does!
