The winter of 1978 was really brutal and it it Amtrak hard too. This is train #41 once again 7 hours late due to below zero temperatures and a Conrail locomotive in the lead for more power 2/8/1978. East Palestine, Ohio

2/9/1977 We used to have local freight that had to be serviced even in bad weather. This is Local CA1 working it's way west.
