In G or more accurately 1:20.3.

Something like the building only, No turntable.  2 stalls for engines, tools and work benches.
I'll have to install lead in switches and tracks in addition to building the structure.  It will be made with wood, as most all of my projects.

List - 1st draft:
  • Design building - Done
  • Draw building - Done except for floor details (tools, work benches etc)
  • Decide on materials to build structure - Paint sticks and spare pieces of lumber - Done
  • Build structure
  • Add switches to layout - Connect air tubes and toggles to operate switch machines - Add position LED lights to switch frogs
  • Add the tracks inside the shed
  • Isolate the 2 tracks electrically and connect "power lead" switches so both engines don't come out at the same time   Goldth
  • Light building - More LED's

Starting Pictures
The switch is just laying there for reference.  It is not connected to the main line.

Well, every new idea needs to be drawn out to find any unforeseen issues.
I usually do this in my head as I go, but this building had to be drawn out so "I" could see where I'm going with this.

The floor plan showing the approximate positions of the 2 tracks.
I had to combine the work/tool area inside the floor plan, since 3 stalls is way too large for the area I have on the layout.
It turned out to be 12-1/2" wide X 7-1/2 deep, with a 2" overhang above the doorways making it 9-1/2 deep overall.

Finally, the front view.  The red areas are the structure and the center support.
The purple is a screened ventilation area in case we ever want to use steam engines.

The green areas are the roof lines as shown on the side view.

I wonder what that would look like at 1:160???? We would have to use toothpicks rather than paint paddles. Icon_lol Icon_lol

The other side wall frame is complete.  Here are both sides so you don't think I just turned the first one around   Icon_lol Icon_lol

It looks to me as if you're planning to go with natural weathering, rather than a painted finish, as you've already used-up the paint-mixing sticks. Misngth

I passed our rules by our lawyers, Dewey, Cheetum and Howe, and they say that there's nothing in them against sponsorships, but they did warn against blatant attempts at advertising.....Waiting
