This is probably my favourite spot for rail-fanning in my hometown---the Laking Garden pedestrian bridge overlooking Bayview Junction.

Great shot, Ed, especially seeing that you got the pedestrian bridge, the train , and what could very-well be yourself, all in the same frame.

I've been getting a little stir crazy with being house bound so I snuck out to do some solitary rail-fanning---I actually tried a new location that I heard about---the Tenth Rd.crossing in Vinemount .It's not a busy location but I lucked out and caught CP 246 southbound on the CP Hamilton Sub.

I was excited today as I spotted my first SD30ECO locomotive in my hometown but disappointed that I couldn't get a clear shot. These diesels are a common sight in Western Canada but seldom seen locally---I wanted to chase this train but didn't have the time.

Here's a picture of the Cataract Power Plant on Victoria Ave. in my hometown.I grew up just down the street. It's good to see this vintage building has been preserved and still being used by local companies. The tracks are the CN mainline that runs east/west through the center of Hamilton.

That is an impressive building. I hope it continues to receive maintenance. Charlie
