Not much action at the roundhouse for this locomotive, but it will soon be returning to its owner....
This one has had a rough life, as much of its front end was missing or damage. It had a paint job that might have been done with a roller, and despite some attention, it's still not a great runner. I still need to add some "glass" in the cab windows, and perhaps a little weathering.
I noticed, too, when taking a photo of it on the turntable, that one of the class lights is badly bent - wish I would have seen it before the new paint job, but I'll take care of it.
I have one more to do for the same friend, but it's equally complicated, although in a different manner, as the owner wants it for "dead rail" operation. That includes battery, battery charger, decoder, antenna, and programming of the wireless controller, plus paint and lettering, and a few repairs.
