Yeah, some great videos of trains and some really interesting scenery, too. The model railroad views were icing on the cake, with some very well-done model work.

Gidday Charlie, the diesel locomotives are Kiwirail Class DXC which are upgraded versions of the Former New Zealand Railways DX class which were GE built U26C model which were a narrow-gauge version of the U23C. The DXCs had their air intakes modified so as to haul trains through the 5.3 mile 1 in 33 grade Otira tunnel which had previously been electrified. Here’s a link to more information on the DX class.
