Jim I wish you a speedy recovery.

Good evening folks

The weekend went fairly well. My wife and I attended the Cirque Italia. They set up their tent in the parking lot of the now-closed Exton Square Mall. We really enjoyed the performance and would see their other show, Cirque Paranormal, when it comes around. On the way home, we stopped at the Ale House in Newton Square to grab a couple of hot roast beef sandwiches. Sunday, we did our running to the pharmacy, grocery store, and hardware store. I had to get a new hose since our existing one got a hole in it. Unfortunately for me, I could not get the old hose off the faucet.

I replaced the Kadee #5 coupler on the IHC Chessie tender with a #37 coupler. That did the trick; no more uncoupling. I could then run my version of the Chessie System Steam Special. I recorded a couple of videos that will eventually find their way to my YouTube channel.

I got soaked at work during a concrete pour. Luckily, it was a small pour for a sign structure foundation, and the crew could finish it and cover it before the heavy stuff came down. I had to drive from Willow Grove to Bensalem. Not long after I got on the PA Turnpike, the deluge happened. Visibility went from good to about 10 feet. Speed went from 70 plus to 30 MPH.

After dinner I made it down to the layout. I packed up my version of Chessie Steam Special. I then began a break in run of my Bachmann DCC Lehigh & New England 2-8-0 Consolidation.

I hope everybody has a good evening.

Greetings, gang.

69 and very muggy with 99% humidity. Just had a light rain pass through with another on the way in an hour or two.

Very quiet around here lately. Yesterday's activity included a trip to the gym, bill paying, a nice ride on the SuperCruiser to take care of the drive-by bills, and a short bike ride. Nothing major planned for today other than maybe a walk when the next shower arrives. That will depend on whether there is lightning to accompany the rain.

All stay safe.
