The Hobo Camp Fire Is going well #X.. Stop In!!!
Good evening folks

The end of a crazy work week. It started off with a traffic switch on Monday that almost didn’t happen. Just as we were getting ready to begin, we had a torrential downpour for close to an hour. We were not sure if things would dry in time. You cannot put paint down on wet pavement. By the time the rain stopped, it was 9 PM. Our paint subcontractor could only stay until 2 AM as they had another job to be at. Luckily, the pavement dried, and we finished by 2:30. The rest of the week we worked on the payment estimate for July along with inspecting ongoing operations. This means going around the project and double-checking quantities and finished operations.

The weekend is up in the air. We have our usual errands and chores, including laundry. We are still kicking around a few ideas for different museums and/or parks/gardens to visit. If we don’t get any rain, I need to clean the fishpond filter.

I plan on working on the Main Street Café kit. I am experimenting with Robert’s Brick Mortar. I am going to run some trains. If time permits, I may renumber a couple of Accurail cars.

I hope everybody has a good evening.

Tom: By my electronic calipers, 5/8" is 15.96mm. that .04mm is about the width of a human hair IIRC.
Watch out for excess slop.

In model railroading, there are between six and two hundred ways of performing a given task.
Most modellers can get two of them to work.

Greetings, gang.

61 under clear skies outside my window this morning. Another nice day has been scheduled as the high to day is supposed to be around 80.

Productive trip to the gym which means I was sweating a lot. After lunch I stopped at the grocery store on the recommendation of a friend ad bought a 4 pack of Tillamook ice cream bars, which by the way are quite tasty. The interesting part is on the nutrition label. Each bar allegedly contains 200 calories but the box only contains 780 calories. Not sure if I'm getting cheated out of 20 calories or getting a discount for eating the whole box at once.

Agenda so far for today consists of laundry and a trip to Walmart, both of which will be accomplished early. Also need to get in a longish bike ride at some point.

David - I guess these old eyeballs are still working fairly well.

All stay safe.
