Here's the new and improved? "Hello" thread
Well, here's a rotten twist of events.
I've had tendonitis in both shoulders for about 15 years.

Doing fine until I fell 2 nights ago and couldn't use my arms to get up from the floor. I finally crawled to the bed and got in and then, once sitting, I could stand.
This strained my leg muscles, so now I'm sore all over.

Doctor said I should start using a cane for balance and weight distribution. Also recommended PT.
Ordered the cane (due today) and sent a request for an appointment with PT

Just another crazy day......

I'll update as I go.

wow.
I am so sorry to hear that.
I hope you get better soon.

have you considered getting a 'life-alert" device?
then you at least call for help if it happens again.

take care.

I am sorry to read this Mikey. I was told by my eye doctor that I should use a cane for balance too. I think he is right.
Take care

Sorry to hear this. I hope you get better quickly.

If you are dealing with an Orthopedic Group stay away from Rothman at Riddle and Bryn Mawr. Both my wife and I had bad experinces with them. The kind of experinces that if we had listened to them we could have had dire consequences.
