the shop and a great wife to help!

Well, out of that, I do have the great wife.
I am a computer technician by trade so I guess that is the second career.
Retired? Maybe another 10 years
All my stuff paid for??? Well car will be next year, in an apartment, so that will never be paid, but still cheaper than taxes and repairs
So, I guess I am working on it Mike.
Glad to hear you are ahead.

Lets hope the new one goes up as fast as the old one came down.
By the way...Since you are deconstructing/reconstructing...Shouldn't you edit the title of the thread from "May"...To "is being"?

Here is the finished layout design. The city will be on the left end and mountain with lake will be on the right side over most of the double loop and the track at the back of the long section will be elevated about 2 1/2". The loop on the lower left will go into the wall and be visable from the outside via a window that can be opened for access and will feature a tunnel lining even though the inside of the room will be buildings.

Looks good Mike.
Lots of room for rolling stock in that yard and lots of room for scenery on each end.
I also like your idea if the tunnel in another room.
Very well thought out plan sir.

Hey Mike,
Enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing. It blows me away to witness the modeling skills of people like your self and then myself
trying to do something so much less challenging and so difficult for me to achieve.
Thanks for the inspiration.

Neat little window, if I ever build a real layout I may try to convince my wife on that one. Can't wait to see your progress!

HAPPY FATHERS DAY !!!!!!!
Here is the last two days progress on the ACTRR.
I got all the homasote down and trains temporarily running on both mains all the way around.
I plan on working on the yard today and try some different configs.
