FALLEN FLAGS

I remember the town I grew up in would have gondolas brought in with gravel, cinders, or sand. A truck mounted crane would come by and unload the cars with a clamshell bucket. Some times the operator would be in a hurry, (or maybe some of them weren't all that good,) but they would sure bang up the ends and sides of some of those gons!!
I only know what I know, and I don't understand very much of it, either.

This photo is not new but it was a fallen flag when it was taken. Also it is not a locomotive or rolling stock. How about a building, I think it is part of a round house don't remember exactly. Look closely
Now another one with 2 fallen flags

I think I took some fallen flag pictures, with this thread in mind actually, but I'll need some confirmation on them.
1) does EJ&E count since being purchased by CN? 2) Norfolk and Western 3) MP (Mopac?) 4) SP, which I already know is a fallen flag

Any defunct railroad is OK as long as the equipment is still roaming the rails.

Here are a few freight cars I noticed on a train passing by, and thought of this thread when snapping them:
And for a few locomotives, taken before EJ&E was purchased by CN:
