Any ideas about the "B" in the reporting marks? Does it have anything to do with the lading

Depending on the lessee, the Penn Central used PC, PCA, and PCB reporting marks. I am sure Ralph will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it had to do with accountability of groups of leased cars due to the Penn Central's not so good credit history.

The PCB indicated they were ,leased from Pullman-Standard, I believe....

It caught my eye also.
So I checked Fallen Flags site and found out it looks like all of CSX's GE 4400AC series are numbered with only two or three numbered road numbers. Odd..but guess its normal.
