The Tree Docotor is in....
With a little seltive prunning and painting I am continuing to blend my foreground and background. The trees are really starting to look good and look more alive then modeled.

Unless you're on the Eastern side of the Cascades, you need more GREENERY!!!
If you are modeling over there in that dry place then I gotta say so far it's lookin pretty awesome. Galen

Greg, I bought the Kalmback backdrop book. It has some neat tips in it. I found some good info I can apply to my flatland layout in the Midwestern section - most notably the step by step process of giving the depth of illusion with the colors used.

I guess most of us have gone through this for one reason or another, but it is a bit painful... Best wishes...

Move to Northern Oregon or Southern Washington, home of the SP&S. Vancouver, Wa great for rail fanning, and it a lot cheaper than California, quite a few hobby stores in the area (Portland), and a few good clubs. |
