Little update,
I have decided to build a much larger NAPA store so the blue and white one (second from left) will get a new paint job and a new name.

I get the impression that the size of the "real" buildings are just a bit larger than the size in the pics...

The four buildings take up just under 10 inches of layout real estate (or will once installed).

Nuther new building for the Z , this time a factory.
First one is down from above to show the shape.
Next a straight on front shot.
Right side, this is the track side
Left side the truck side.
3/4 front view painted and pretty.
Needs some detail on the flat roof and a name and she is done except for planting.

If you have factorys you need trucks for items not shipped by rail.So I scratchbuilt a 40' trailer.I used a container chassis designed by Stony Smith with a scratchbuilt box by me.

The decals are N scale but work quite well as the billboard style of lettering that Roadway uses.I have two container chassis left.At this point the plan is ti shorten one to make a 28' city trailer and stretch the other one to make a 53' trailer.

Nice job Catt!
I've got a small fleet of trucks that need to be done for the Macon Pallet Company you can get started on next!

Got the idea for this car from a article in NSR magazine from 2009.The biggest difference is mine is Z scale. This is the second one I've done and I plan to re do the first one.The prototype cars werebuilt by BN back in the 1980s.They were meant for hauling scrap metal. Not sure yet what mine will haul.
Car is total MTL except for the FVM metal wheels and eteched brass ladders.
