We had a visitor from California in Sparks NV today. This engine resides in Central California normally. I don't know why it's here or which way it's headed but I was able to grab a couple of shots of it.

That is a neat unit, I like the paint scheme. I do miss the F40PH, was a much better looking unit than these things Amtrak is using nowadays.

I agree, the lack of a defined nose of the current crop of GE’s is esthetically challenged.
