It wasn't bitterly cold but we did have a little snow today. Here are a few photos from Enon Valley and the area.

On the way home from the doctor today the roads were pretty slippery so I had to wait by the tracks for the salt trucks.

Great shots Bruce and Charlie. We've had a recent snowfall in my hometown so I'm hoping to get out and add a few more shots. With all the snow falling on the east coast hope to see lots of photos from that area---if you can get out hock: Drive carefully and keep warm.

Here's a shot from last winter as a track inspection train headed east through Bayview Junction

A beautiful winter's day at Bayview even though the train action was slow.I only saw one train this morning---#422---as it headed east towards Aldershot Yard but I was very pleased---included in the 4 diesel consist was the latest ES44AC unit #3030 just off the erecting floor at GE's Erie PA. plant being delivered to it's new owners. It's very rare to see these locomotives in revenue service in my hometown as they call western Canada home.
