Thanks a lot. Order is on it's way. Did order TICHY TRAINS 8227 from Walthers via my German LHS to save oversee shipping cost. Will take some time ..... as usual

I like the flat bed so much I moved it from the F850 on a SceneMaster 4900 base when I switched back from the 1980+ to 2005+ last week.

Trident had a decent 80s Chevy Fleetside truck if you want a smaller delivery vehicle. Here's a link to show them

I had another look after the current models of the Canter to be used on my now 2005+ layout theme.
A German seller offers them as a special sale for 1.25€ (about 1.50$) only at ebay. They have not the original packing! I assume they are from some Mitsubishi promotion program. That might be of interest at least for all Europeans if you get multiple to offset the shipping cost.

Looks as though Trident does a plain white Chevy van, I might get one. http://www.reynaulds.com/products/Trident/900411.aspx

I have got two of them labeled for "Gray Line" in red color and two more Trident. One of the German dealers (Drexler) has sometimes a limited selection on stock.
ps. put them on the roof for the photo only

Reinhard - You were asking about trucks - these may be a little large, but see http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index. ... ne-trucks/
