Anyone have Walthers heavyweight passengers?

I was wondering if anyone here had Walthers new heavyweight passenger cars, or the pullman standard also, and what you think of them? They aren't shorties (less than scale length) are they? I'm looking for some more C&O passenger cars and theirs look really nice. Thanks!

The heavyweights that Walthers sells are inded long and heavy. They have diaphragms between the cars, too, and between those diaphragms and the truck design, their stated minimum curve radius of 24" is a bit optimistic. If your track is perfect and your cars are perfect, you will probably do fine...probably.

Still, they are fine cars, and I would recommend them. Look around, and be patient; they are often discounted. Try internethobbies....about three weeks or so back they had a sale on them.
