New layout
#1
OK the wife has been itching to see me get the O&W layout started. Thanks to my dad who got 21 sheets of 3/4 inch plywood along with 2x2 boards to use as legs. This layout may take more time to do because of money reasons but i did get 2 sheets of foam and i have a ton of track. Tonight i started the Earlville section table and cut foam to length. Ill get pics up as soon as i make more progress.

Anyhow, congratulations. It's always fun to start a layout. How about all the gory details. Is this you first one? Do you have a track plan you can post?

This is getting real interesting. It looks like you are following a prototype. I can't find anything on the net about an O&W except this. Are you building part of this? The New York, Ontario & Western Railway.

Harry , the work you have done looks real good. I hope you get her ballasted , that is my least favorite part of model railroading.

Harry, great start. I like model railroads with a prototypical trackplan, so this will be interesting to watch.

You may know it already, but here is a link to another great O&W model railroad with some information on the prototype: http://home.comcast.net/~oandw/index.html .
