Here is some CSX "Past" stuff - Good Old L&N - will have to go through the slide collection to get some more shots in original L&N paint - but these will do for a start...
ALCo C-420 Lexington KY

GE U30B South Louisville Shops 75th Anniversary Special Paint

EMD SD40-2 on Train R163 Frankfort KY

And hour later EMD SD40-2 8123 leads Train R160 through Frankfort KY

And finally something really from the past...

Thanks Charlie - appreciate that very much. As I mentioned in the post, I've got some "real" L&N photos in my slide collection, but will have to find the time to scan the slides in order to post them. I was never too fond of that "Family Lines" stuff. Beginning of the end by making all the railroads in the "Family" look the same... But the times "they were a chang'in".

Well, even though you don't bring us blueberries anymore I'll still post another one.
This one is at the north end of New Castle yard. The tower has been torn down, and I've forgotten which one it was. UN was at the south end of the yard and was saved.
