An Academy?

Would there be any support for a section like "The Academy" that we had on the old place? Have we had any classic threads yet that would qualify?
Is there a spot for preserving single useful posts? I just re-read a terrific explanation of trouble shooting short circuits that should be in the basic skills section.

Hi David,

I have been thinking a bit about this, and perhaps we could come up with a reference section that doesn't require that we move threads to a special place? Something like an index by topic, or even just a list of links.

I know there are starting to be some great threads here, and The Academy was certainly one unique feature of the old place we could rebuild (in a fashion) here.

Any more thoughts? If it takes the form of an index, where should that reside?

I like the Idea of an index of links for the threads, It could be under the depot heading. We could call it the Switch List or Roundhouse, something along those lines.
