Steven, CRIPES, the only ones i know for sure exactly where i got them was a couple of the TS09-"what ever #'s you like" . I spent 5 hours one Sunday morning downloading textures, for sure download all ten pages of dmdrakes stuff at the download station Wink , not only that but every route you download gives you all the textures it took to make that route Wink , i am pretty sure i got these weeds(pic below) from the "UP in action" route, but i couldnt swear to it, i've just collected so many textures from so many places i couldnt even begin to recall where i got what :? .

I simply decided one day that if i'm going to make the RVS in Trainz, i need to spend the time making it as best as it possibly could be, it involved tons of time going through textures and different routes that had decent buildings and textures that would suit my needs. I have done the same with freight cars and engines too Wink . There's SOME REAL NICE STUFF OUT THERE, and lots of crap out there too, especially for free, you just have to take the time to sift through it and decided what look your going for, and what will work for you Wink .

I spent this morning searching for UP stuff, found a much better UP heavy rail with concrete tie track, now i just gotta rip up and redo about 240+ miles of track and replace it Eek ... :| . Found some better UP signals and UP correct track signs, will take a bit to change everything out.

I spent ALL afternoon and some of this evening creating the RVS engine service facilities, its on the east side of the yard. I wasnt able to get it all in one picture, its just to big, but here's a teaser pic of about 3/4's of one side of it.

That's some terrific scenicking..!!! I presume that this is the track layout and facilities you'll be using for the "real" RVS..? Gonna be a "humdinger".... Thumbsup

I see you've got a little "something" for the UP...or am I seeing things..?? Goldth

Thanks Steven and Gus! Big Grin

Gus, i down sized the engine service facility a touch, actually now that would be do-able in HO Thumbsup , but the yard alone would take about 40' to do in HO Eek , NOT doable Nope .

**********************************************************************************************
While most of us are sleeping at 2:00AM in the morning, the RVS is quite alive with tons of action. The RVS, is just on the outskirts of Beloit WI, right on the WI/ILL Stateline, and happens to be the home of UP's Largest classification yard in WI.

UP's RVS handels all the trains coming into and out of the yard from Chicago's Proviso yard(south bound traffic) , and for north bound traffic UP's RVS assembles consists that run to Madison, Milwaukee and Green Bay. The RVS yard is comprised of 3 sections,
1-the engine holding tracks(2) & service facility (4 tracks)
2- South bound traffic (west side of the yard)
3- North bound traffic (East side of the yard)

Shots below were taken around the engine service facility at about 2:00AM in the morning, as you can tell by the parking lot the RVS has large crews working around the clock keeping the UP going strong Thumbsup (and thats just the engine crews cars, you should see the yard office on the west side of the yard Wink ) . Side note, i was just informed from "Big ED" a large Paint shop is going up right behind the engine service shop Eek , more on that as it happens Misngth .

Looks like a cool SIM to have.
If I had it...I'd probably would get LESS modeling done than I am already.

Nice to see a fellow TRAINZ user on here, it's really quite amusing that you are modeling the EXACT same thing on the computer as you do in HO. It's great stuff. Cheers
