Thanks so much for the very kind words folks!

I havent been by much this week, been super busy on the Trainz stuff  .
I have found there to be many of those that are doing Trainz for the same reason i am, they are model RRer's too, but have had to move, or now live in smaller homes/apartments and just dont have the room to Model RR at this time, Trainz is helping them stay "On Track" , just like it has been doing for me Wink Big Grin

LANDMARK WEEK FOR ME...

I have had to raise the bar a little higher for myself on building my layout, i hope you find it noticeable in the last few shots i am posting below  .

I have also learned how to break into a CDP file and using my Adobe Photoshop elements 7 i can patch my own engines(see the Rio Grande below) , add numbers to engines, and can create my OWN SIGNS! Eek ....just brings my GERN in Trainz to a new level! being able to figure that out has OPENED MANY DOORS as to what i am capable of doing now  .

Anyways, enough boring chit chat from me, here are some NEW shots off my layout....

The improvement is noticeable, Deano, and I like the way that you're using foliage in the foreground to "frame" your pictures, too. Those background buildings are pretty effective also. Thumbsup Thumbsup

Wayne & Gus, THANK YOU so much for your complements!

Wayne, i am working on something i think you might find neat  , more on it if i can actually pull it off Thumbsup .

Gus, "when will we see the real thing? " , not really sure what you mean :? , if its modeling at home again, it wont be until things become stable enough for me to take the chance on spending all the money it will take to move, though they say the "recession" is over, on MY side of the tracks that statement is the biggest crock of crap i have ever heard Icon_lol :| .

I speak from experience when I say this...they aren't the only ones! I got laid off in March, and have been a stay at home dad since. Now with two kids, its not even worth getting a job since all the money I make there would go to pay for childcare

Deano......
WOW!!!
My friend, that is looking awesome! Thumbsup
Looking at the first pics in this thread and then seeing your latest stuff, the improvement is unbelieveable. I can't think of a better way for you to "keep on track" than this.

On a more serious note.......
I can only hope and pray that things will begin to look up for those who are out of work or in danger of being so. Hopefully "the better days ahead" are around the next bend.

Wow indeed! I'm really impressed with the scenic elements Dean. All of the bushes and grasses and trees really fill in those train scenes. The small town crossing pics remind me of so many places I've seen in the Midwest. Really captures the flavor.

Those are some cool "world" sims you've been adding to your scenes. Gotta love them.

Two questions...Is that a Dunkin Donuts the cop car is parked in front of?..And..Where in the USA are they selling gas for 78.9 cents a gallon? I haven't seen that price since I was sixteen.
I'm also surprised they have cidgerette ads included. Seems like some parent is going to make a stink over that.
