One of the local hobby shops down here in So Cal buys estate collections, or collections form folks who are getting out of the hobby, changing scales, etc. and blows them out a really good price on his "deal table." A few weeks ago I picked up 4 of the first run Intermountain Santa Fe reefers that were originally done for Longs rug Store in Mareno Valley for $4.95 each.

After having spent 31 years in the hobby business working for and/or running 5 shops, a distributorship and a mail order business, I find that I have enough kits, bits, pieces and what not to probably keep me busy for the rest of my life. Of course having WAAAAAAAAY too many hobbies doesn't help matters either and model railroading is just the tip of the iceberg........
