First, click on your "User Control Panel" near the top left-hand corner of the screen, then click on the "Gallery" box option which appears, then, at the left of the screen, click on "Manage personal albums". A box will appear that reads "create personal album" - when you click on it, you will be given the option to create a subalbum. I like to use subalbums, rather than the main album, as it allows you to organise your photos by type: for instance, Locos, Freight Cars, Structures -whatever most suits your interests. You can add more subalbums as they're required. After you've selected a name for the subalbum, click on "Submit".

After you've created a subalbum, simply go to it and click on "Upload Image" to post a picture, following the on-screen instructions.
First, type in an image title (mandatory), and, if you wish, a description of the picture. Scroll down the page slightly and then use the "Browse" buttons to select photos from your computer files. You can upload up to 20 pictures at a time (subalbums are limited to a total of 100 images, but you can create additional subalbums as required).
When you're done, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Submit".
Make sure that your images to upload are within the specifications shown - if they're too big, they won't upload.

Hope this helps.

In all honesty... I find the gallery feature pretty non-user friendly here. Sad
