the text for me looks like a bunch of gobbeldy gook. I'm not sure if the problem is on my end ?? I would say it could be a font I don't have, but it is a pdf so that should not matter.

You may have to down load the latest version fo Adobe to read. But if you download in a seperate file it should be fine.
Let us know if you still have a problem.

Outstanding! Kudos to all involved in putting it together!
And thanks for the larger print so I don't need my Wal-Mart reading glasses!

Great read guys, well done. I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to create a subforum to hold all issues of the E-Mag as it comes out. It would be like the Academy with no posting just each issue added there as they are published so that new members or visitors to the site could easily access back issues of the mag as well as the current issue. Comments on the mag would continue to be posted in a separate thread in the "Upper Berth."

We're already working on that idea.
We wanted to see what we could do and how far we could go with the e-mag after changing it to this new format.. the icing on the cake was when MasonJar thought of the idea to convert it to a pdf file. Now I can format the old issues the same way and upload them...
We had a separate forum on the old site just for back issues... I'll work on that in the next few months..
~~ Thanks for the comments and ideas!!!

Um, small correction, the cab-forward shaygetz has pictured in the E-mag says Southern Pacific Lines on the tender, not Union Pacific.
