Allright, back in the game for me:

This is how the Jamaicans do Gondolas.

This is a train I had just brought in to St. Jago mine. 27 empty ore gondolas getting ready to load full of Bauxite (for the making of Alumina). We ran 12 miles from Clarendon Alumina works to the railhead near the mine. A conveyor (modified Alpine ski lift) brings the bauxite over the mountain and piles it up at St. Jago where Cat loaders scoop it up and deposit into big funnels that load 3 cars at a time in the tipple.

We cut off on track 1, nose up to the loads in the tipple with our GP40-2, meanwhile, the switcher (Republic Loco works R-20 CAT) goes down track 2, runs around our train of empties, and ties on at the other end in 1 to shove the train into the loader, meanwhile, we line the switch behind our power and pull out down 2 rail, stop, air test, and take off down the hill in full dynamics). Photo taken from the brakeman side while we were waiting for our brakeman to walk the set.

Interesting-looking flatcar, although the load doesn't appear to be heavy enough to need such a car. Do you have any more info on either the car or the load?
