How about everyone going back to your profiles and if you haven't listed where you are from do so now. It really means a lot to me and others to, I know, to know where someone is from. Thanks very much.

Thanks.

It just makes it a lot more fun and an opportunity to ask people about where they live, etc. I have always thought it ought to be "mandatory" but you know how those kinds of rules work Icon_lol Eek Misngth

I think it is fun to know that you are talking to someone in a far away location that you wouldn't have a chance to meet any other way. Big Blue, making the world a smaller, friendlier place Smile

I agree. When someone talks about snow 27 feet deep, I would like to know where they are. I'll add mine, and post pics whenever I learn how. Took 14 years to learn on the other "one" , so I got a couple years to go on this'un.

Appalachian Mts in SW Va.
I only know what I know, and I don't understand very much of it, either.

Between Larkspur and Palmer Lake in Colorado, near the infamous Monument Pass, part of the Palmer Lake - Divide weather system. Divide, incidentally, is so named because it sits astride the Continental divide, and the weather system has to be experienced to be believed. Huge hailstones in July and August are not unusual, and a Chinook wind is an experience all it's own. Over 50 14,000 foot mountains in this state makes weather forecaster more like fortune telling than science. The local joke is that if you don't like our weather, wait five minutes - it will change. The local weatherman just says "Weather? Yes! And now back to sports..."

No need to take up a whole lot of space, so will someone PM me, and detail HOW to ammend my profile to show my location. Also, I tried to post pics but I can't click on Browse to go get them. I know a lot, but sure isn't anything that has to do with computers. I can't think of a subject I do know a lot about, but it's just that I can't remember. 357 Nope

I can boil water, when I need steam. When cooking?...... I burn it.
