Still having problems posting photos from our Gallery...
#1
I still can't post a picture from our Gallery: I can put a working link into my posts, but getting the actual picture there is what I want to do. Personally, I almost never click on links, and I don't want other people to have to either, as it makes it difficult to follow a "how-to" or an illustrated "story".

Looks like the ALBUM tag BBCODE isn't working in the forum.

However, if you copy the Image-URL url provide and paste that inbetween IMG tags, it'll appear like above.

Code:

Ah, looks like the Gallery is given users the incorrect tag then. Its display the ALBUM instead of ALBUMIMG.

The third line, above, is the only one that works, but it still requires viewers to click on it. Next suggestion? And, please, nothing rude. Icon_lol 35

Wayne,

When you make a post is the "Disable BBCode" option checked just below the submit button?

Make sure that is cleared and then simply copy and paste this image code (and nothing else) into a new post.

Code:
[albumimg]38[/albumimg]

It should display this image for you.

You do NOT want to link to an image using it's path that way. You aren't really linking to the image, you're linking to a php script that outputs the image. So it can do different things depending on how it's used. That is why I put the albumimg and albumthumb buttons above.

I guess I should make an "album" bbcode do the same thing as albumimg. I just wanted to give people the ability to post full images or thumbs. When you click on a thumb, it pops up the image.

Testing...(with no check mark in the disable BB Code box)

[album]13[/album]

Well, blow me down.... Eek ....it worked! I never noticed that box before, so I can't say if was checked previously or not - there was no check in the box when I looked this time, so I've changed nothing. Thanks for the assistance. Thumbsup Now to re-size 3200 pictures.
