Lester, what are you refering to? just rail? or are you wanting the guard rail?
I always stripped a section of flex track to get the rail, It was cheaper then buying the rail. N scale works great for guard rail.

Rail is rail - if you are looking for the prototypical closely spaced ties for open bridges, try Central Valley (just ties or ties & rails) or Micro Engineering (ties and rails).

It appears that I will have to use regular flex track, cut the plastic strip between the ties and push them closer together

Didn't micro engineering make that? You could try wooden ties and spiking your own, or using PCB ties to fasten the rails to. Even if you aren't a seasoned tracklayer, a short, straight bridge would not be too much of a pain.

Campbell makes bridge ties ... get a bag of the ties, a small bag of 1/8" spikes, pull the Code 100 from the flex track and call in the Coolies! ;-)

I think I will just modify the code 100 flex to make the ties closer. $20 for 500 ties of which most will be stored which means lost. Just think for me that is not the best use of $20. I am figuring in $1.50 S&H.
