I had a fire department on my layout that was put there back in late 1990s. I never did like it and I am just now getting around to doing something about it. here is the beginning of what is going to be a manufacturing shop that will have truck and rail service.

But it looks like it will be an interesting structure ...

... and you lose a static, non-railroad related entity and gain a rail-served industry at the same time!!
