Hi all once again i have redone my ho layout and have decided to back date to the 1955 era. In return ill get to model the more simpler time of life in a free lance way with the Erie Northshore & Western. I have not decided to much on what the road will be based around in the terms of freight hauling, but none the less started working on it sun into mon and will get photos when i can.

I did not get anything done tuesday on the layout. Now today was a diffrent story i got the main line down for town of Northshore, also the station freight house and machine/reapir shop. Oh i also got a few town buildings in and the road. Reason posting instead of pictures is because camra went to the big digatal drawer in the sky and i dont know when ill get a new one. Go figure eh? That's too bad Harry. Oh well, keep working on the layout and show what's developing when you have access to a camera again!

Got some more work done as you can see. I got the grade in along with the station grounds spotted for Valley Mills and the river carved out ( needs more work). Also have the 2 industries that will be served here a coal/fule dealer and im not 100% where the cement plant.

Man o man got so much done yesterday that i dont know where to start. I did run a few trans to try the grade and well its grade A the 2-10-2 and the RS1 do just fine with 7 cars so far in tow. Lets see ive got the creek carved out, streets down, some ballest down and put in a canning co. where cement silos were. Started the west side of Valley Mills area with track down, a hill/mountain where there is a small operating coal tipple that loads 2 cars there at a time. Well back to the layout...! pics to follow later Big Grin

Well weather is getting cooler and what not, so its time for me to start working on the layout again. But i want to see if any one has input on how to build a good size mountain to the right of the last pic posted as there will be a coal tipple on other side of mountain.
