EG&E interchange at Leetown

Hello Everyone---due to the increased demand for Gern Industrie's products from the Port Maitland plant the Elora Gorge and Eastern has assigned one of her "Big Birks" on regular interchange service with the Canadian National Railway at Leetown.The local railfans could'nt be happier as they will now get a chance to see one of these elusive locomotives on a regular basis.EG&E 3002 has been outfitted with a larger tender than her sisters suggesting this locomotive will be held in captive service for this assignment.Here is the 3002 on her first trip to Leetown.

Hello again---The engine crews from the EG&E like the trip from Port Maitland to Leetown.It's an eight hour trip so the crew lays over for the night and returns home the next day.Before bunking down for the night,crews have been known to head across the tracks to indulge in some of Leetown's attractions.

Hello---it appears that the EG&E has taken over Leetown as a couple of her bigger steam engines are seen together at the coaling tower
