Yeah, I think there's about four different scales all morphed into what we call G scale, I guess I could have listed all of them plus the others like OOO, but like I said, if you're exact scale isn't listed here, there's probably one that's close.

You're welcome to meet over at my place sometime...but the rare occasion when I do get to work in 1:1 isn't around here. My dad spent a number of a weekends recently working on getting a couple of ex-Army cars ready to roll...every weekend for a month...with four hour car rides each way. They managed to be approved for track speed by the time 765 left Owosso so she could pull them. There shop is open every Saturday...and free to drop in.
Almost all of my current efforts are in 1:48th scale. working on assembling my second Oahu Railway coach (I prefer to paint prior to assembly). A few weeks back, I hacked up a B-man On30 2-8-0 (regauged to On3) and added 12" of space in between the #2 & #3 drivers. I also finished up my trio of C&S stock cars (and I need to update that thread...)

I have modelled both N&HO scale,and decided to stick with HO Scale.I think HO is the true "Modellers"scale.There is so much more detail to HO than any other scale IMHO.Although it takes up more space than N scale,I have always been dissapointed with the lack of detail in N scale,and the lack of sufficent sound sytem for N scale.When it comes to larger than HO scale,they just don't have the details or realism of HO scale,and look more like Toys than they do models of the real thing.And of course the price is more expensive for larger scale models and again the lack of structures,rolling stock just isn't there like it is for HO scale.
