card stock buildings
#1
I was messing with my computer and came across some buildings made of card stock. Some was in HO guage and quite a few in N guage. Now my question is: How can I resize these buildings to the scale I want? What programs could I use to resize these buildings? I was thinking they might be good for the background to fill in some space. 35

Leon, you can use paint to resize them, it was a part of windows up through winxp. I don't know if it remains in vista or win 7. Most photo programs will resize, you just have to know the scale you want to make the buildings. I have been working on making buildings for my backgrounds and have had pretty good luck, both finding them to download as well as making my own from photos.

I have the photo program called Picassa and I don't think I can rersize to anything except normal photo sizes. I will try to get the paint program you mentioned.

I use a program called Photoscape: http://www.photoscape.org/ps/main/index.php

It has lots of features, and it's free Wink

Paint is usually under accessories in windows. It is a little hard to use for resizing because you have to tell it the correct proportions. You need a program that gives the actual measurements in inches to know where you are. there are lots of free editing programs to download but some come with spyware packaged in them so be careful.
