Not a problem but a question...

Would it be possible to add a "mark forum read" link at the bottom as well as at the top of the page? After reading through all the topics it would be nice to simply click at the bottom rather than scroll back to the top.

Tom, just hit "Refresh" on your toolbar, and the red "ball" to the left of the "Topics" list will turn grey, indicating that you've already read it. New replies to any will return these back to the red colour on your next "Refresh".

If you use the "return" links - "Return to __ forum" (below the post reply button) or " ^ Board Index" (in bottom "nav" bar) everything that you've read should be reflected by the time you get there. If you don't read everything, you'll still have to click the "Mark All..." manually.

I think I just talked myself into seconding your request...! Wink Big Grin

yeah, that's the only problem with using that, it'll only mark what you already read, but it does get you to the top rather quickly. I know that Pat is a bit reluctant to keep adding links since it's tending to get a bit cluttered as it is, besides, not all changes can be done using a switch to turn them on, some require modification software, which again, Pat is a bit cautious about adding too many of those too.

A bit of clarification - the only place I would like it is on the bottom of the main page. I use it after I have finished with the topics I'm interested in.

Again, it's simply a request. If it can't be done or causes problems, it's really not all that hard to scroll back to the top of the page.

Instead of scrolling, you could click refresh or see that tiny gray circle to the right and in the corner? Click it and your browser returns to the top.. it's on every post..... Just anothr shortcut Big Grin Big Grin
