Those place names bring back fond memories....Having lived in Madison for over 10 years (finished college there '70), it's nice to see them again.
As I recall, there was a RR causeway in one of the smaller lakes. Got any pictures of that area..??

It looks sooo real, hard to believe it's HO gauge Huh? Ha!

So I landed in suburban Milwaukee this spring. I live a few blocks from both Canadian National and the Wisconsin & Southern so I've been seeing and hearing a lot more trains than I did before. Canadian Pacific is also just a few miles north. I'll keep updating this thread with my finds.

Interesting: of a class of 35 locomotives, 6 are preserved. I think 3 of them (possibly only 2) currently work.
