Back in Black

I suppose this warrants its own thread since it's more than a single photo...

On Dec. 23, I was driving east across Indiana on U.S. 6. Near Milford the gates went down as I approached the crossing of the NS Marion Branch, which runs between Goshen and Alexandria, Ind., and carries traffic between Elkhart, Ft. Wayne, Cincinnati, and Lafayette. I happened to run into train 366, an Elkhart to Ft. Wayne run that would make a left hand turn off the Marion Branch at Claypool and onto the Chicago District there. With the sun in the sky and nowhere in particular to be anytime soon, I took up the chase!

The fifth picture,
There, is the scene that clearly shows how a tree should look, before you add the "greenery".
Can you imagine a layout done completely in "Winter", now ?
Great pictures !!! ( and a great subject too ! )
We always learn far more from our own mistakes, than we will ever learn from another's advice.
The greatest place to live life, is on the sharp leading edge of a learning curve.
Lead me not into temptation.....I can find it myself!
