"For the first time in my life, I feel like I have a "honey do list". I swear, I don't know how you other guys do it! "
One word:
Divorce
Solved a multitude of other problems besides the honey-do list as well.

Balance is everything Kevin. Time together and mutually understood time apart...unless this is a relatively new relationship...in which case you'll be hopelessly lost for a little while.
Seriously, I've found that the "honey-do" list works best as a "let's get things done together" list...or else a "divide and conquer" list in which we split tasks. Maybe I'm lucky that Susan has interests of her own like reading that she wants time for alone after we get chores done so we can part company for awhile and pursue our respective hobbies.
