The 2013 adapt an orphan voting poll
#1
Well, it’s that time again. We’re at the end of another challenge and ready to cast our opinions on those that entered. I do not want to make a judgment on who finished far enough to warrant being in the voting poll, so everyone that entered will appear in the poll, even those that never got to do all that they wanted to. If you want to see a person's project, just click on their name above and it will take you to their challenge thread. All entries are listed in alphabetical order since I found out how to do that easily. Thumbsup

You may select one or as many entries as you like. Note that anyone who did more than one project has each one listed separately. Vote as you wish, but consider everyone’s effort in achieving their goals, the complexity of their project and how well they accomplished what they started out to do. Someone might not have finished, but might deserve a vote based on their performance. Also, only consider any posts that were made before the September 15, cutoff date. Any posts after that are great for follow-up only, and are appreciated. If you're undecided, you can vote for everyone if that’s your wish, just that we'd appreciate your vote to show that you support everyone's efforts. Thumbsup

This poll will run until the end of September. As always, there will not be any prizes awarded, but the top three will get a Big Blue award certificate and have bragging rights.

If, for some reason I didn't include your entry, misspelled your name, got your project or link wrong, or screwed up in some other way, please let me know so I can correct things. but do it quickly since the last time I edited a poll, we lost all the votes up to that point. I can't help that; it's the way the software works....

Just a reminder, but this voting poll will only be open for a short time. If you come here to see how other people have voted and have not done so yourself, please take a minute and do so. Don't wait until the last minute, than miss your chance.

Thank you to everyone that has voted. For those that haven't yet, there's still a few days left before the polls close, so why not vote now and not have to wait until the last minute... then find out that you waited too long.... Come on now, it's not like we're electing members of congress or parliament where you have no idea who to vote for, so look over the projects by clicking on the names in the poll and then cast your vote for the ones you like best.

We need your help here. For those that haven't voted yet, as you can see, we have two ties, one for first place and one for third place so we need your vote to help break these ties. We only have a few days to go with this voting poll, so please show your recognition for the efforts of those who entered their projects.

Thank you. 2285_ 2285_

Two more days to break the now, four-way tie for first place. Not that it's a bad thing, just that it will be the first time in our history to have that happen. If you haven't voted yet, you have around 45 hours left to do so.

LOL. 72 votes is pretty good. I wish we could get more submissions, though.

Yup, but 100 is better. We're now over 80, not bad either. Remember, you can vote for one, two, three or even all entries.

14 entries isn't bad. We've had some challenges with well over that, and we've had a few that just did poorly with only a few entries. Sometimes it's tough to guess what will work and what won't, that's why I ask for suggestions. This one was one of those. Which of course, brings up the question, does anyone have any good ideas for a new challenge. We probably won't have another one before the beginning of the year, let's face it, we're not that far before we're into the holidays, so we might have a holiday photo challenge or something, but that's it for this year.

Think about the next build challenge and I'll be posting a separate thread soon where you can post your suggestions.
