I can't believe it was 2 years ago for this one westbound at New Brighton, Pa. DrWayne and CNNutbar were beside me somewhere.

Later on in the early evening on Aug 11th,Wayne and I were treated by Charlie to some exceptional railfanning on the Wilderson Division---one of my favourite railfanning trips ever---thanks again Charlie

Charlie, that shot really shows the sad state of railroading of that time. It's great to see but hard to look at. The railroads were on borrowed time, and unsure of what would come next.
My other car is a locomotive, ARHS restoration crew

Back in Aug. 2012,Doctor Wayne and I spent a few days with our good friend Charlie railfanning in and around his hometown.Certainly one of the highlights of the trip was catching Nickle Plate Berkshire 765 in her smoking glory but Charlie also treated us to some great railfanning over the next couple of days watching both NS and CSX in continuous action---here's some photos taken on 12/08/2012
