Trains on this day in the past:
Bergen cut EX Erie / DL&W, now NJT / NS-CSX. 3/10/13....We were working near by for three or four days so I spent all my lunch breaks standing next to a highway in Jersey City, camera in hand waiting for a train, None ever showed up. So I took a shot any way just so I didn't feel like I wasted my time.

My other car is a locomotive, ARHS restoration crew
That's a great shot! Two levels of track, a bridge and a tunnel...looks like a model railroad. Smile

A brief, blurry, dark video of WPCA-20, the local to Hainesport on the Pemberton Industrial track. This is the local train through my town. Its not a great video, but I haven't seen a lot of CSX on the line lately. Its been mostly NS engines, even though its still a Conrail Shared Assets Operation.

Cool U36C. that black CR patch might have been a pain if Mount Vernon Shops didn't release a black Conrail patch decal sheet. I need to order a couple of their decal sets!

March 12, 2012, SEPTA's 13th Street subway surface trolley station in center city Philadelphia. This is the "inner most" station, on the end of a loop. The trolleys all funnel into this station and then branch outwards towards the different routes.

It was actually hard to get a good shot on this day, for whatever reason. This was for a trip to University of Pennsylvania to see their Flow Cytometery machines. Cell samples are treated with special flourescent dyes, and the cells are rapidly flowed one at a time past a laser, which can determine the size, shape of every individual cell, as well as detect varying levels of the dyes that attach to specific features of the cells. This allows the machine to accurately characterize every cell in a sample, rather than forcing someone to make a guess from a few cells visible in a microscope slide. A fun trip over all, and a great excuse to ride the trolleys!

37 years ago on a trip to McDonald Ohio I found the Youngstown and Northern.  Here is a picture of one of their cabins

Wow, what's that building in the background?

And come to think of it, I guess you could slice-and-dice an Athearn bay window caboose into an ex-B&LE car like that one.
