I found a faded historic photo of life in Joy's Camp, about 100 years ago.

Continuing with history, I made this for a background building a reminder of the 1952 election.

Great start to the photo fun this week!
Kevin, love the historic shot! The faded signs are a nice touch.
Charlie, that building has a lot of character and the fact that there is an Ike poster on the bar next to Stevenson's headquarters is pretty funny.
Bruce, those coil cars are awesome!

For my part, I can offer a Penn Central freight with a former NYC F7 leading a pair of Pennsy RSD-12s meeting a KP&W run powered by a set of SD9s. Meanwhile the GP9 in the background is preparing to do some local switching at Kings Port.

Brand new PRSL RDC for Christmas! Its got that new metal finish, and more importantly, a DCC plug (older P1K RDCs don't have that feature), So this was a lot of fun!

A preview on my announced loco project - the Virginia 2-10-10-2 Class AE. Start is in 2014, definitively!

First step will be to obtain a well-running model. And this is the mail goal, well-running!
Detailling will be a second step, after.
Cheers, Bernd

... unfortunately, with very poor running quality!

Today a late Christmas gift has arrived, a long wished V&T #25 tenwheeler!

Now my V&T passenger train can come true!

However, there are still a lot of other work before and the V&T caboose #24 needs to be built (in my own shop of course).
Cheers, Bernd
