WPMA-17 is a Monday to Saturday job that signs on at 1100, here it leaves Mannheim Yard.

After arriving at Peter Lumber it picks up two empties and sets out two lumber flats

Looks like two of us started a new WPF, maybe the moderator can place mine in the one already started.

After working Peter Lumber, they switch AGWAY

After completing the switching they back the train down the siding and uncouple to runaround . After recoupling and doing an air test they will take a break before heading back to the yard.

Les,
Thanks, several years ago I read an article about doing background trees with craft paints and a sea sponge and gave it a try. Fill in the area you want the trees to cover with black paint then use the sponge to dab on several shades of green and yellow or whatever color for your season. Don't use to much pressure when your dabbing on the paint or you will lose texture. Actually my wife did the one you commented on.

Nice pics all! I sure enjoy the operations themed posts some of you guys are doing in the photo threads lately.

GP40 3007 heads to the Williams Yard departure track with cabin car in tow to complete the string of cars that will become KW-5 (Kings Port to West Mill, Northbound). Meanwhile GP9 7175 idles waiting to perform local switching at Kings Port.

An Anna lines crew brings a trio of brand new Erie F-T's to a stop in Easton. These units are on loan so that the SH&D management can evaluate these new oil electrics. The freight cars will be dropped off here for the CNJ to kick around. The Anna crew will grab some empties from the Central to forward to Mahanoy City, There they will test the new EMC's on the Big grade into coal country.
My other car is a locomotive, ARHS restoration crew
