Both UP and BNSF are power short lately, and things are getting scrambled. First, CN and CSX power on a UP K Line eastbound:

   

UP has pulled some 8-40C conventional cab locos out of storage (it had sold others to CN). This one has all new paint, too.

   

For that matter, look at UP 6919 just ahead of the CN SD70ACe. It's a passé AC4460 with red sill stripe and peeling paint. Did that one get pulled out of storage too?

PRT 25 & crew working Dundee Trans-load yard moving some covered hoppers A little warm out they got the door open!!! Then the crew stops at the dinner for a jersey break !!! Taylor ham & egg with cheese on a roll !!! :o hock:
