NCE Power Cab reset
#1
Is there a way to reset a NCE power cab to delete all decoders that I have programmed to it?

Are you referring to the locomotive numbers that the PowerCab stores in the Recall feature or something else. Any locomotive you programmed has that information in the locomotives decoder and not the PowerCab.

Ed, what I think he wants to do is delete the locomotives from the stack on the controller. On the MRC it is easy because there is a delete key for this but I don't have an answer for the power cab.

Sorry if I wasn't explaining it right. I had 5 engines programmed to this controller but no longer have those engines. Do I need to delete them off the controller to program 3 new engines or can I program the new ones and the controller will automatically "forget" an existing 3.

There is probably a maximum number of locomotives that you can have in the stack, once there the new ones should replace the old ones. There is a good yahoo group for NCE DCC. https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/NCE-DCC/info. You should join it, they are a great resource
