Erie Lackawanna caboose

I've been throwing around the idea of putting together some EL equipment. I'm looking to do a caboose closest to the prototype in the link <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1005750">http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPi ... id=1005750</a><!-- m --> not necessarily this exact caboose but that type. I'm not familiar with cabooses so if anyone knows what kind it is and can point me in the right direction with a model that if isn't exact it's close enough to get the idea.

I like the " spring broken " chalk mark.... I almost want to put it on one of my cabooses.

I'm not sure if this is close enough for your needs, but it is, if I'm not mistaken, the source of the prototype in your link. The cupola is pretty close, but the windows will need some modification, as will the steps at the ends, and you may be hard pressed to find trucks like those in the photo.

Compare also this picture http://berwickrailfan.webs.com/Xtopastph...L-C838.jpg of a EL caboose, which is very different to that on your link however there will be some more models available, I think. Especially you have not he problem with these very specific trucks like on your picture.

Thanks for the tips and suggestions. After searching around the Internet I found out its called a Dunmore caboose. After searching that I found out that a company named JJL models makes a caboose kit. Like everything else I come across in model railroading I'm a bit too late on finding it. It seems JJL is in between owners and they're retooling their molds so hopefully these kits will be available soon. I'm not really in a rush so I'll wait it out.
